My Health Story (MHS) founder Soula Mantalvanos and Physical Therapist and Board Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist Dustienne Miller go way back.

In fact, all the way to 2014, when Soula was desperately seeking a way to return to her yoga practice and discovered Dustienne’s website, Your Pace Yoga.

This was also the time when Soula was gathering resources for pudendalnerve.com.au in order to help an expanding global pelvic pain community.

The introduction led to an instant connection: Dustienne purchased Soula’s book, Art & Chronic Pain – A Self Portrait, for her practice, which is still on the client waiting room table, and Soula purchased Dustienne’s pelvic pain yoga program, which was then available on DVD.

Dustienne’s DVD was a turning point, allowing Soula to return to yoga in a perfectly gentle way, easing her pelvic pain rather than exacerbating it, as previous attempts had.

Having kept in touch over the years and still practising Dustienne’s program, Soula and Dustienne now come together again to form an MHS Friendship.

The MHS Friends system is another part of Soula’s ambition to get the best resources to people who need them as quickly as possible. After a 4.5-year misdiagnosis and now living with the effects of that, Soula understands the importance of individuals receiving speedy and appropriate treatment.
