Literacy For Life’s Health Festivals aim to create spaces where everyone feels welcome — no matter age, background, or experience.

Whether it’s through expert talks, hands-on workshops, cooking demos, fitness sessions, or creative activities, the events are designed to make health approachable and engaging – and the Geelong Health Festival did exactly that.

Whether you wanted to learn about fertility, fitness, chronic pain, physiotherapy or find helpful products to help you manage your health condition, it was all available to you in one location. My Health Story was very excited to meet up with Banksia Medical, Be Puri, CIDLA, Diabetes Vic, QENDO, SeenCare, and Wise Psychology.

The founders of Literacy For Life believe that by bringing together local providers, educators, and advocates, they can help turn complex health information into everyday wisdom.

And My Health Story was there, just as we were last year for the inauguration of the event. Both events were a great success.
