My Health Story (MHS) has seen many growth spurts in its start-up time. Today we release yet another! MHS is thrilled to introduce a new subscription package for users who want to use MHS more 'litely'. Enter MHS Lite! We learned that not everyone required their information to sync between the MHS website and handheld devices. Not everyone was necessarily interested in keeping lengthy details, so we narrowed down the main areas of MHS [...]

Own Your Health Data

Self-management is hard, chronic illness is overwhelming. Chronic illness robs you of your independence and control, leaving you feeling defeated and mentally and physically drained. Add to the endless appointments required; now, we also have to be considerate of healthcare systems under pressure. Guess who gets the short end of the stick? We pay with our lives. Perhaps healthcare systems were destined to burst their stitches because healthCARE was never built to care for people; it was made to keep people relying on it. That's not care. Can taking more ownership of our health make a difference?

(Story from MHS Founder's blog pudendalnerve.com.au) I'm a proud buttercup. Despite my many ongoing limitations, I feel I've come a long way. And today, I have a huge milestone to celebrate with you. But first, shall I reflect? The earliest evidence of being able to again participate in life was the posting of my first Instagram. It was July 2011, a few months before I began this website. There's a lot not to like about 2021, but the team at PainTrain MHS are focused on progress, growth and living and learning. That means we look at the takeaways of experiences past to direct us on the way forward. There is much to look forward to – expectations of better healthcare are high.
